To minimize stress and maximize joy and truly enjoy one the the biggest days of their lives. To let go of details and enjoy family, friends, and guests without worrying about logistics during the wedding. To have peace of mind that everything will go smoothly no matter what problem or situation might come up. Couples benefit from wedding coordinator relationships with vendors that allow wedding dreams come to life. Hiring a wedding planner and day-of coordinator also takes stress off the family of the wedding couple.
They can. It's fun to plan a wedding or special event! A coordinator helps however much is needed or desired. A coordinator is an investment in making sure your big day goes smoothly while taking stress and worries off you and your guests, so everyone can be fully present to enjoy and witness your union and celebrate with you rather than working the event for you. (Again, it is often a pleasure to work/serve alongside enthusiastic family and friends to whatever involvement they are enthusiastic about.
A venue coordinator oversees the on site staff, to make sure they are fulfilling their contractual obligations, serving food on time, etc. A lot of times the venue coordinator is not there for the duration of the event &/or they have other events they are overseeing on property during the same time. A wedding coordinator works only for you to make every aspect run smoothly, greet all your vendors, send out a timeline prior, make sure you are having a great time celebrating and to ensure that your vision has become a reality.
Because it is one of the most beautiful, unforgettable, unique places in the world with a great and friendly wedding industry who can provide everything you're looking for to create your perfect wedding. The San Juan Islands in Washington State (www.visitsanjuans.com) offer nature and nurture without breaking the bank. No need to fly to some foreign locale. The honeymoon begins with a romantic hour-long ferry ride, or a short seaplane or wheeled plane ride from Seattle .
Every wedding and couple is different. I encourage my clients to come up with an amount they feel is comfortable to develop and design a wedding that is right for them.
The moment a couple is engaged, they may find themselves surrounded by well-meaning friends and family who are suddenly experts in wedding traditions and etiquette. Couples can feel overwhelmed by advice and find that some of it may conflict with their own ideas of how they envisioned their wedding day and details. I'd recommend soliciting help if you want help and communicating what is important to you. We can help sort through what is out there and what fits your style and desires.
Well, it depends which process. For officiating services we go back and forth with communication personalizing your ceremony so it is exactly the way you would like it to be. For pre-wedding planning, we find out what your ideal wedding would look like and how we can make that happen with options here in the islands. Then we find out if you would like to have a day of wedding coordinator. For the packages, we find out what your interests are as well as the interests of your guests, and we create the perfect package that best suits your needs.
Let's talk and see if we can reach more clarity. I'm happy to communicate with you without a commitment.

Because the San Juan Islands are not connected by a bridge to the mainland, ferry or plane reservations are needed. Guests who walk on don’t have to make reservations. There are several options for getting around without a car; vans and cars can be rented on island. There is a shuttle from mainland airports to the Anacortes ferry terminal.
Please don't hesitate to call if you have any questions.
To help create the perfect wedding or special experience from start to finish, I offer sincerity, enthusiasm, joy, positive, calm, and convenience to solve your problems, to be at your service to bring joy to you and your guests. Rather than having people asking you logistical questions during your wedding, part of the value is a stress-free experience; you have one go to person to handle everything. I know from feedback from couples and their guests that my services and my officiating services make a big positive difference in people's lives, including their family and friends.
